The SCFP Resident Leadership Award recognizes the leadership abilities of two (2) outstanding Residents from the Family Medicine and Enhanced Skills Programs. The award recipients will receive free registration for the 2024 Family Medicine Conference (FMC), being held in Saskatoon on September 20, 2024, and up to $1,700 to attend the 2024 Family Medicine Forum (FMF), being held November 6 – 9, 2024 in Vancouver. This funding supports members in active practice to carry out research activities related to meeting the changing needs of their patients and communities within Saskatchewan. SCFP has a total fund of $20,000 available to support a maximum of two recipients annually.

The Honours and Awards Program offers grants, scholarships and awards to recognize, and support family physicians, family medicine residents, and medical students committed to education, research, and excellence in the practice of family medicine.
